About Marcia
Born in Brazil, Marcia Araujo was inspired by her “curandeira” grandmother, Dona Nenen, to explore shamanism. This relationship ignited her spiritual journey, leading her away from Catholicism and towards Zen Buddhism under the guidance of Nyogen Roshi, where she practiced Zazen and took her Jukai.
With over 20 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist and 10 years in bodywork, Marcia understands the link between emotions and physical health, recognizing how unresolved traumas manifest in the body. Her curiosity in the metaphysical realm led her to plant medicine and kundalini activation, where she found her life purpose as a facilitator.
Disillusioned by misapplied energy practices, Marcia sought guidance from Master Pi Villaraza in Palawan, Philippines. Together, they nurture Inner Dance, a practice that blends neuroscience and spirituality. Additionally, Marcia is a student of emotional release guru shaman James Hyman, deepening her expertise in healing. Now based in Los Angeles, she helps individuals achieve emotional balance, expanded consciousness, and physical wellness, integrating her shamanic roots with Inner Dance in her lifelong quest for deeper understanding.
